# Remove inventory from consolidate shipping order

Removes return-inventory items from a consolidate shipping order. Only works while the order is still in a draft state (i.e. before [Confirm consolidate shipping order](/api-reference/consolidateshippingorder/confirm-consolidate-shipping-order) is called).
